Mona Ashtari-Majlan is currently pursuing her PhD in the Doctoral programme in Network and Information Technologies at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Spain. She received her Master's degree in Health Systems Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, in 2021. As a member of the AIwell research group at the eHealth Center of the UOC, her research interests include Biomedical Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.
